Wind Energy Technology Courses at CCCC
Cloud County Community College’s (CCCC) associate of applied science degree in wind energy technology is one of just five such programs nationwide and the only one in Kansas. CCCC has expanded its wind energy technology program in response to Kansas' capacity for wind energy production and the state’s immediate need for technicians in the industry. With five existing wind projects, one project in the construction phase and more than a dozen proposed projects, Kansas will need nearly 625 new technicians in the next few years as projects reach full operating capacity. CCCC is focused on responding to this need.
